ABOUT —
THERAPY FOR COUPLES,
INDIVIDUALS, &
ADOLESCENTS

Choosing to start therapy takes courage. It is also a first step in activating your own inner healer. I believe therapy is a collaborative process. My style is one of openness to all feelings and experiences that emerge. I offer warmth, compassion, and a space that supports your image of healing and transformation. Trust and safety are foundational elements, and I work to create an environment where you feel secure in the space we create together. As you share your story, I offer a desire to understand your experiences on a deeper level, insight into themes, details, and engagement with the body. I believe therapy can help us discover our inner resources and strengths while offering insight into our suffering. As we explore your inner landscape together discovering new experiences, understanding, and felt experiences, change becomes possible.

I am grounded in depth psychology and embodied neurobiology. I work from a trauma informed lens, as I have experience working at both RISE and Stand Strong in San Luis Obispo as well as completing movement for trauma level 1 training and Embodied Neurobiology. I integrate imaginal methods, dreamwork, art, embodiment, neuroscience, talk therapy, movement and various other modalities where appropriate. As a depth psychotherapist, I am also moved by myths, metaphors, symbols, images, artistic expression, and soul. I believe the answers you need are within you and my job is to facilitate your process in uncovering them.

you touch everything."

AREAS OF EMPHASIS

RELATIONSHIPS
Maiden to Mother Thresholds, Pregnancy, Birth Experiences
Through movement, guided meditation, ritual, talk, and somatic explorations we uncover ways your own birth story is revealed in your current life. I am also interested in working with women who are considering becoming pregnant or are pregnant who wish to increase connection with their baby and themselves.
COLLEGE/
LIFE TRANSITIONS
School can be both an exciting and overwhelming time in life. Whether you are having trouble making or maintaining relationships, or feeling overwhelmed and stressed, having someone to talk to can be helpful. Life transitions can bring up difficult feelings. Making sense of those feelings can encourage growth and insight.

SELF ESTEEM/
SELF IMAGE
The cycle of judgement and self-crisitism can take away a person’s joy in life. These feelings can affect one’s self-worth, confidence, and ability to find fulfilling relationships or follow dreams. Therapy can help in developing a healthy relationship with yourself and your life.
SEXUAL ASSAULT/
ABUSE
No one should have to walk through trauma alone. Safely processing trauma, whether from the past or the present, is an important and necessary piece in healing. Therapy can help overcome the distress, pain, and suffering that comes from having lived through a life threatening situation.
RELATIONSHIPS
As human beings we have an innate desire to connect, love, and find meaning. In learning about ourselves, we can change our relationship to life, to ourselves, and to others. I have completed the Gottman Institute Level 1 training for couples therapy. I am currently in level 1 PACT Training which is a psychobiological approach.
